Guernsey Paramedic Andy Adam Marks 40 Years of Service on St John Day

Guernsey’s longest-serving paramedic, Andy Adam, has marked an extraordinary 40 years of continuous service with the St John Ambulance and Rescue Service — starting his career on St John Day in 1985. A former St John cadet turned professional paramedic, Andy has become a respected leader, mentor, and frontline responder, contributing to major incident planning, marine rescue, and healthcare support across the Bailiwick. Recognised as an Officer of the Order of St John, Andy continues to serve with unwavering dedication, embodying the values of compassion, teamwork, and service to humanity.
