Seven members of the Johanniter International Assistance arrived in Port Moresby to support St John PNG at the new Nightingale COVID Centre. St John is setting up a field hospital to isolate and care for patients suffering from COVID-19.

Dr Gillian Willmore became the Chancellor of The Order of St John on St John’s Day 2020, succeeding Mr Patrick Burgess OBE, who held the post with great distinction since 2014.

St John organisations in more than 36 countries are fighting at the frontline against COVID-19. Our volunteers and staff are supporting national health systems, which otherwise would not be able to cope with the virus and its effects on the local population.
