Mother and Baby Programme

World Religion Day, celebrated on 18 January 2026, the day highlights the shared values connecting faiths worldwide. Archbishop Emeritus Sir David Moxon, KNZM, GCStJ, Prelate, explores how the Order of St John of Jerusalem, founded a thousand years ago amidst Christian, Jewish, and Muslim communities, continues to inspire compassion, understanding, and peace today.

The Mother and Baby Programme completed its 2025 pilot, strengthening maternal and child health through community-led engagement, regular follow-ups, and support for expectant mothers. CHPs and volunteers were recognised for their dedication, and strong partnerships with local leaders and stakeholders helped drive impact. The Mother and Baby programme will continue in 2026, building on these successes to empower mothers and improve health outcomes.

St John Ambulance Bermuda honoured its dedicated volunteers at a Long Service and Coronation Medals Ceremony hosted by His Excellency The Governor at Government House, recognising years of exceptional service and commitment to the health, safety, and welfare of the Bermuda community.
