St John International (SJI) is now officially a member of the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH), a global alliance hosted by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Joining PMNCH will provide SJI with opportunities to increase our international visibility, share learning from our Mother and Baby Programme, and build relationships with organisations working towards shared goals.
For SJI, the membership is also an important opportunity to support the fundraising ambitions of the Mother and Baby Programme by raising awareness of the programme and the impact of our work within a wider global health community.
Sylvia Chopamba, Head of Programme Delivery, said:
