Youth Leader of the Year: Philadelphia Lose
The Youth Leader of the Year award acknowledges the most outstanding brigade member in youth leadership. It considers factors such as the number of Proficiency Badges earned under their leadership, their role in advancing the organisation’s youth movement, and the activity level of their cadet group.
Philadelphia has demonstrated exceptional leadership in the Kimberley District, setting a commendable example for her peers. Her constant availability and active participation in the Youth Programme have inspired those around her, making her an invaluable asset to St John Brigade, South Africa.

Cadet of the Year: Emihle Tshangela
The Cadet of the Year award honours the most outstanding Cadet nationally, based on leadership, maturity, respectability, proficiency, and service.
Emihle has inspired many with her charisma and dedication to her school club. Her leadership of the Kimberley Girls High Division has brought the team to new heights. Notable achievements, such as her self-driven initiatives and her victory at the District first aid competition, set her apart as a true leader among her peers.
