You are alive
In the tenderness of touch
In the care of the wounded
In us reaching out to the sick and the poor.

In all who respond with love to human pain.
Christ our life,

In the ruins of Gaza
In the devastation of Ukraine
In the cries of all who suffer.
Christ our life,
You are alive
To offer healing
To every unhealed hurt
To every damaged heart.
In your resurrection
You set before us a great choice.
To choose between love or hate,
Between healing or enmity,
Between peace or war.
Give us the courage to choose life
In all our work for St John
And to bring the risen life of Christ to the world.
