Saveen, a former Regional Cadet of the Year (2019), is a committed leader who has revitalised youth programmes, supported regional training and ceremonies, and serves as a First Responder, Community Educator, and member of the National Youth Advisory Panel.
Saveen was the Regional Cadet of the Year for Central Region in 2019, a respected Youth Divisional Manager who has helped run successful youth camps, leadership trainings and competitions and is a Regional Drill & Ceremonies Officer. He has grown successful youth programmes where these have been dwindling in size and voluntarily assisted another Region when they did not have a Ceremonies Officer. He is a volunteer First Responder, Community Educator and on the Hato Hone St John National Youth Advisory Panel.
Saveen has shared: “It is an honour to be admitted into the Order of St John. As a cadet growing up through the Youth programme, you interact with some amazing leaders who gained admission into the Order for their hard work and dedication. To now stand here and reflect on all my achievements, it truly is a wonderful occasion for my family and I.”
