St John Dominica is a national, voluntary organisation which is dedicated to providing quality care services to vulnerable, sick and injured people, and the training and provision of first aid to enhance health, prevent injury and save lives to all who need its services.

First Aid

St John in Dominica is passionate about delivering first aid programmes to the community.

Disaster Preparedness Training

St John trains volunteers in workshops which includes basic awareness of different types of disaster, how to identify and reduce risk from hazards, reducing vulnerability of people and property, making an emergency evacuation plan, basic emergency first aid skills and effective early warning systems.

St John's Mother & Baby Programme

St John is meeting the urgent health needs of pregnant women, new mothers and infants in Malawi, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe through its Mother and Baby Programme. We encourage women to be active in getting the healthcare they need and to safely start their journey into motherhood. At the same time we extend the reach and effectiveness of the public health services.
