Honours and awards

St John recognises the most selfless contributions with a range of honours and awards, such as Life Saving Medals, and the Award for Organ Donation in cooperation with the NHS. Volunteers are awarded the Service Medal for their long service and good conduct.

Organ Donor Award

The Order of St John Organ Donor Award is not part of St John's Honours and Awards system, but an award that was established in cooperation with NHS Blood and Transplant in the UK.

    St John is meeting the urgent health needs of pregnant women, new mothers and infants in Malawi, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe through its Mother and Baby Programme. We encourage women to be active in getting the healthcare they need and to safely start their journey into motherhood. At the same time we extend the reach and effectiveness of the public health services.
